Nice layout on this one. The wardrobe, hair styling, and background imagery all fit together well. The make-up is unobtrusive and lets Thea's natural elegance come through. The colors on her lips and blouse pop against her fair skin and help move her forward in the photo. Good job of getting a pose from her that gives direction to the mood of the picture as well. Great highlights on the hair give it the proper texture and help to show its softness.
I only find two real issues with the shot. The first is more preference than anything, but I feel that having a slightly greater depth of field to allow more of the detail to show on the blouse would have been a plus for the strength of the photo. Secondly, perhaps stepping down some of the lighting that is hitting her lower body would have helped to push focus even more toward the upper portion of the picture around her face. Too much attention is being drawn downward unnecessarily because of the high tones there.
I've enjoyed looking through your portfolio. I hope this has been helpful.
Believe it or not what the models wear and location is usually always picked by me, something that I find on my own or sometime I will take the models to thrift stores to shop! Aside from the I dont direct the models too much, but just try to capture them how I see them Thanks!
No, I believe it. For some reason, it just kinda hit when seeing Theadina. I remember Bailey in a teal silk thong that complimeted her and a dark blue dress Carlotta wore, etc. Always very nice choices.
Hey... I definitely remember her, it was after I stumbled on one of her pictures that I decided to browse your gallery, so yeah, she pretty much introduced me to your works. It's good to see her again, she's as beautiful as ever.
